Added some enhancements to the Avenue Shopify theme for a print-on-demand apperal company.
Tru Heart, is a lifestyle brand that creates shirts with unique designs. I was tasked with setting up their purchased theme to address the concerns of the business. The owner of Tru Heart reached out to me to set up her new theme for her Shopify store with (1) a means of showing announcements (2) updating sections with content and high quality images.
websiteAs minimal as the Simple theme is, Simple provides only the bare minimum for a Shopify store. With the small amount of things mentioned, I modified the announcement section to function as a carousel or slider. By enhancing the announcement section with slider functionality, I provided another way for the owner to show information relavent to customers. I also provided high quality stock images for their collections, and I added some content to the necessary sections.
As a result of the work, the store owner now has an array of high quality images to use and an effective way of displaying important information.
