I designed a new look for an established institution with the Wix platform.
The lockdown during the peak of Covid-19 put in-person classes on a strict hold. With students unable to sign up and attend classes, the lockdown forced the school to go virtual.
websiteAt the request of the client, I made tweaks on the website’s design and function to make the website more appealing and equipped to conduct online instruction. Since the website has a lot of information, I focused a lot on typography and color scheme for easy readability. I also used Wix’s database to create tables for existing classes, courses, and teachers. Now people can sign up to classes. Despite the strict requirements for design and limitations of the Wix platform, I used my understanding of design, backend and frontend development to create a very easy to use system.
Staff members can now add content without changing content on the website. Students can now sign up for the program without needing to submit in person. Now people can sign up for the program without worrying about mailing or locations to submit their forms.
